Describe the moment you received your Stanford admission decision.
I was sure I wasn't going to be accepted so when I saw the Stanford Admissions email, I told myself to kneel since I would fall when I read the denial letter. I read the email on my knees and when I saw the word, "Congratulations!" I thought it was a mistake. I ran to my mom yelling, "Mom! I got accepted to Stanford!"
What are some of the activities you are involved in at Stanford?
I am a Night Outreach walk leader, a public service group on campus that builds community with the homeless population of Palo Alto. I am also an avid member of the community of El Centro Chicano y Latino and a member of the Public Service Leadership Program.
List your top five things to do at Stanford.
Shop at the Bookstore, write chemistry problems on the white/chalk boards, walk the campus at night, roll down the hills in the Engineering Quad, and visit El Centro Chicano y Latino.
What is your favorite place to eat on campus?
The Axe and Palm
What is your favorite book?
