Stanford is in Silicon Valley, 35 miles south of San Francisco, 20 miles north of San Jose, and in the city of Palo Alto.

Use the information here to plan your trip to Stanford. Admit Weekend begins Thursday morning and ends midday Saturday, but students may arrive late or leave early. The admissions office cannot arrange for students to be housed on campus Wednesday or Saturday evening, but students are welcome to make arrangements on their own.
