    I am an international student from Chennai, India. Stanford is a long way from home but I have found community at Rinc, the best freshman dorm on campus (RINC LOVE), and in Noopur, Stanford’s Indian classical dance team. My favorite things to do on campus are fountain hopping, picnics by the lake, and rock climbing. Reach out if you want to talk about cool classes to take, transitioning into Stanford as an international student, your love for Disney movies, or anything else!

On campus I am part of the incredible Stanford Shakespeare company, the coolest group you can be part of.     I am a senior working on my honor’s thesis in East Asian Studies (the topic is online Danmei literature in China — talk to me about cultural studies/fan studies/feminist and queer literatures in East Asia if you’re interested!). Outside academics, I enjoy listening to K-Pop and podcasts, reading Chinese novels, photography, and cooking. You can also talk to me if you’re interested in competitive debating with the Stanford Debate Society, learning (and tutoring) Asian languages, International Relations/policy research, and not biking on campus.
